We recently completed this impressive 22ft bespoke media wall, designed to completely transform the room while combining practical storage, modern lighting and a striking entertainment setup.
The mission was to create a feature wall that would incorporate everything from a large-screen television and electric fire to built-in shelving, mood lighting and decorative acoustic panelling — all finished to a high-quality, seamless standard.
A Bespoke 22ft Media Wall
Built to span an impressive 22 feet, the media wall was carefully designed and constructed around the client’s requirements.
The structure was built using a strong timber frame and MDF sheet, creating a solid and versatile base for all of the integrated features. Careful planning was required to accommodate the electrical components, lighting, television and fire while maintaining clean lines throughout the finished installation.
The result is a completely bespoke feature wall that looks like it was designed as part of the room from the outset.
Integrated 75-Inch TV & Electric Fire
At the centre of the design is a large 75-inch flatscreen TV, creating a real focal point for the room.
Positioned below the television is a modern electric fire, adding warmth and ambience while completing the traditional media-wall layout. Integrating the TV and fire into the wall keeps the overall appearance clean and uncluttered, with cables and connections neatly concealed within the structure.
Built-In Shelving & Lighting
To add both functionality and visual interest, the media wall incorporates built-in shelving, providing plenty of space for displaying ornaments, books and other accessories.
The shelving is complemented by carefully positioned downlighters, providing practical illumination while also helping to highlight the display areas.
We also incorporated LED strip lighting across the top of the media wall and behind the TV. This creates a subtle ambient glow and allows the atmosphere of the room to be changed depending on the occasion.
Acoustic Decorative Panelling
One of the standout features of the design is the use of acoustic decorative panelling.
The textured panels add depth and contrast to the otherwise smooth finish of the media wall, giving the installation a contemporary and premium appearance. As well as providing an attractive decorative element, acoustic panelling can also help to soften sound within a room.
Fully Integrated Electrics
With so many features incorporated into one wall, the electrical layout was an important part of the design.
The installation includes:
● Integrated light switches
● Electrical sockets
● Downlighters
● LED strip lighting
● Connections for the 75-inch TV
● Electric fire installation
By planning these elements into the construction from the beginning, we were able to keep the finished wall looking neat and streamlined, without unnecessary cables or visible electrical components.
Finished in Farrow & Ball Elephant’s Breath
To complete the project, the media wall was professionally finished in Elephant’s Breath, creating a warm, sophisticated neutral backdrop that works beautifully with the television, lighting and decorative panelling.
The colour helps the feature wall feel substantial without overpowering the room, while the combination of smooth painted MDF, acoustic panelling and integrated lighting adds plenty of visual interest.

This 22ft media wall is a great example of how a bespoke design can bring multiple functions together into one cohesive feature.
From the 75-inch TV and electric fire to the built-in shelving, acoustic panelling and integrated LED lighting, every element has been considered as part of the overall design.
The end result is a stylish, practical and completely bespoke entertainment wall that has transformed the room into a modern space for relaxing and entertaining.
